Match.com vs. eHarmony – Which is the Better Dating Site?

Match.com vs. eHarmony – Which is the Better Dating Site?

I’ve got a lot of questions regarding Match.com, eHarmony, Zoosk, Okcupid, Pof.com. In the past I was able to say with absolute certainty that Pof.com was the best option for online dating. However in 2018 I’ve changed my mind, actually I changed my mind a few years back when buyout talks of Pof.com started to happen. Since then as many of you have noticed I rarely write about Pof.com anymore. Why? Because they were taking over by Match.com who in their effort to monopolize online dating have pretty much lost their appeal to most new generation online daters.
Especially with all these new online dating apps that have popping up all over the net Match.com and eHarmony based on my reviews are becoming more like niche dating websites as opposed to a general online dating website.

Which is the Better Dating Site?

In comparison based on my reviews Match.com is a far better option than eHarmony. Even in it’s hay day I didn’t know too many people who were fans of eHarmony. The thing with eHarmony is all the questions it asks you and then the results or the matches you’ll get after completing your full profile. Based on my reviews it’s just not worth it. Now in regards to Match.com I’m not a fan of Match.com either both sites are very time consuming and results will vary. In other dating websites or App the sign up process is fast and results genuinely will vary at the same rate as they will joining Match.com or eHarmony.

To make matters worse are the limitations of both eHarmony and Match.com even as a premium member the limitations of both can leave a person feeling frustrated. Now there’s one thing not getting replies after being a premium member it’s another thing to be a premium member and having limitations put on you which puts you into a position to wait until another month to contact more matches.

Earlier I brought up Pof.com well prior to Match.com buying out Pof.com there were no limits on how many times a person could contact other members. The receiver of the message had the option to block messages from select users which gave a balance and would assist users individually on how to filter out who they wanted to chat with from who they didn’t want to chat with.

Well now dating websites in an attempt in my opinion to keep subscription fees going have put limits on even their premium memberships. To have full access not only do you have to be a premium member but you also have to purchase additional items. All these additional features that you find on sites under Match.com and eHarmony have turned them slow and just as efficient as a hot or not website.

Final thoughts regarding Match.com vs. eHarmony

Personally I don’t recommend these sites anymore, I’m not calling them scams or anything I just find them to be a waste of time, a waste of energy and quite frankly in my view they only survive because of their massive advertising budgets. But again to answer the questions Match.com vs. eharmony which is better? I would join Match.com. I’ve tried eHarmony and I have to say it was one of the most boringest experiences I ever had. Furthermore the wait times to get matches. I still have nightmares of eHarmony to this day. You couldn’t pay me enough money to sign up for eHarmony again. Match.com on the other hand decent but I’m not a premium member nor would I recommend them.

To finalize this blog post I don’t mind Match.com or eHarmony at the very least they’re trying to be competitive. There are a lot of outright fraudulent dating scams online and I’m glad to say neither Match.com or eHarmony or one of them. When it comes to online dating I prefer real spice, real excitement, I’m a doer  and I can’t stand be bored, plus I’m active in the adult entertainment niche which is why I prefer Adult Friend Finder. A lot of people don’t know that Adult Friend Finder and Match.com are almost the same age the difference being Adult Friend Finder managed to survive and thrive for a long period of time without the massive over the top advertising budget that Match.com.

Why I’m so familiar with Match.com and Adult Friend Finder is that in years past people would opt for Pof.com over both those two websites however as Pof.com got rid of their adult themed searches so did their active members. Then word came out that there was a potential buyout of Pof.com by Match.com and that’s pretty much when people started transition over to Adult Friend Finder. It’s really important for people to understand that without hookup element most dating websites are pretty boring.
