ExperianDirect.com Scam

Before you sign up for anything that says free trial or free credit report for that matter make sure you read the terms and conditions first. There’s a major problem occuring at ExperianDirect.com and that is people are getting smacked with unexpected charges. Now personally I think the blame is to be put on on both sides.

Now i wouldn’t go on record to call experian triple alert a scam, or the  experian triple advantage a scam or even the experian free credit report a scam. i would say however maybe Experian or ExperianDirect.com could have done a better job explaining to its customers the hidden fees they would be charged after the trial period was completed.

I finish this post saying instead of experian calling it a free credit report they should simply call it a Trial Credit Report. but now obviously as most of us know that would never fly and they would probably lose the amount of new customers they get to sign up.

The main problem i think is the mix up between trial and free. I think when some people see the word trial the have it in their minds that the company would call them before smacking them with a charge. similar to i guess a rental like in the past if you rent a movie and you bring t back late you incur a late fee which you pay when go back to the movie rental company. But with trial offers being that they already have your credit card information they can just charge it when the trial period ends i think this is what bothers consumers the most.
