Based on my reviews, I obviously lean more towards PridesDate.com being a full blown scam than legit. The reason I recommend the dating websites I do is because the actual challenge with online dating is meeting people OFFLINE. I consider international dating services like Foreign Affair to be legitimate because they offer in-person dating, whereas PridesDate appears to be an Ai chatting platform.

PridesDate.com Terms

So I began contributing to this blog because I was scammed, and when I got scammed, I contacted the dating site, and the customer support person told me I should have read the terms and conditions, also known as the fine print, before I joined.

Making matters worse, when I was scammed, I found out that the company was foreign-owned, which equated to a highly complex process with my credit card.

Since then, I've made a habit of printing out the terms before joining anything online so that I have the phone number, email, and address. When a company is hiding or making it difficult for me to find out how to contact them by phone and email, I assume they have something to hide, and in my mind I view them a a scam.

Why do I think PridesDate.com is a scam? Birds of a feather flock together; I've seen many duplicates of the PridesDate.com website, which are all scams and have similar designs for their websites. Currently the only information I can find for PridesDate.com is.
  PridesDate, [email protected]
I don't like PridesDate.com because they don't have or display their phone support or physical address on their website as of the date this post was published. In regards to their terms:

Under Section 7.3 – Same Messages, the Terms disclose:

“we allow to send the same messages (‘Icebreakers’) to the other randomly matched users.”

and:

“you may receive more than one Icebreaker.”

This means some incoming messages may be mass-distributed rather than individually written for you. Although some legitimate services use suppliers which are third party APPs, people, Ai or services, if the company is hiding their physical address and they have no phone number, they're typically a scam. in the PridesDate.com terms under Section 11 – Third Parties says:

“we may engage various third parties... (‘Suppliers’)”

for:
  • affiliate marketing,
  • advertising,
  • user acquisition,
  • identity verification,
  • additional services.

I can't in good faith recommend a scam like this.

Final thoughts regarding PridesDate.com

Personally, I won't be recommending PridesDate.com to anyone at this time; their lack of transparency is the main reason. I also don't think they're legit; I believe they're a scam. There are duplicates of the "Prides Date" with different domain names all over the net, I will NOT be recommending them.

A lot of companies have been trying to duplicate the success of  Adult Friend Finder, which is an adult dating service that's been online since 1996, they have adult dating and live webcam sex chat services, but unlike PridesDate, Adult Friend Finder doesn't use deceptive tactics to do it.

Also as you'll notice Adult Friend Finder has phone and email support, just like any legit dating website Adult Friend Finder isn't perfect, but you're getting transparency, you know you're not joining a data harvesting scheme. I will not be recommending PridesDate.com at this time, your questions or concerns related to PridesDate.com should be sent to their staff directly.
